Random double clicks of the MS3320W mouse on single clicks

With Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 and OS Build 26100.3476, the MS3320W mouse with software version 2.0.0.72, connected via wireless receiver and Bluetooth (driver version: N/A), is randomly double-clicking. However, when connected to a smartphone running Android OS versions 12 and 14, and when using Linux Ubuntu 20.04, this random double-click does not occur. Could it be due to a firmware update?
