Problem with TSSTcorpDVD+-RW TS-L532B

I have a XPS M140 with TSSTcorpDVD+-RW TS-L532B. It reads DVD's but cannot read CD's. Can anyone help me ?

You can try the Dell Diagnostics and test the drive, but it is almost certain that the drive needs to be replaced.

Hello, I've just posted a similar question (sorry, I haven't noticed this thread). My problem started right after upgrading the firmware to DE04... I was updating some software using CDs in one moment, updated the firmware and after rebooting I couldn't read CDs anymore. No errors from the firmware update application. Is it possible to get DE03 somewhere so I can revert the firmware? Thanks, Thing-Insp.
