Precision 3640 - Intel RST can't add new disk
Dear all,
We have a dell Precision 3640 installed from factory, bios raid mode is enabled but no volume is created.
The disks inside are :
1 x 250 GB C: drive
1 D drive: 500 GB
We would like to add a new NVME disk inside it.
The problem is that when we add the disk, a BSOD appears.
The new disk is well detected in the raid controller but the current configuration indicates that there is no volume created.
Do you know if I should install specific drivers or do something else? Because we can't afford to do a complete reinstallation of the system.

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.
