Peculiar issue with a certain CD

I'm having a strange issue with a particular CD ROM. I'm going to say straight away that the drive DOES work, I have tried audio CDs and DVDs and they work fine. The problem with this CD is that when I insert it into the drive, the drive starts whirring and clicking like crazy. No autoplay occurs, I cant't right click on the drive in Explorer and sometimes it freezes. It's like it's searching for something that can't be found. The CD in question also DOES work on another computer. What's going on?
