Optiplex 760 MT - New SSD. Which SATA port

I noticed my Optiplex 760 MT has what appears to be 4 SATA ports.  2 are currently being used (spinning drive and DVD-RW)  and I will be adding a Samsung 840 Evo shortly.  I just want to make sure it does not matter which SATA port I use for the SSD.  I assume they are all SATA II?

Hi Cutlassvilliger1,

I should not matter but I always put my system drive on SATA port 0. I also disconnect non-system HDDs during the Windows installation to avoid doing anything unintended to other drives.

Thanks for the help!  I put the SSD on Port 0 and the SSD has given my machine a big performance boost!  Start time got cut in half to about 25 seconds.
