New Laptop

I got my new alienware lap top friday and I just realized it doesn't have a cd/dvd player, Why I didn't realize it before i ordered I Don't know anyways.. what is a good external dvd/cd drive that can play both and also burn cds/dvds that IS NOT expensive?

Yes, to installing from CD/DVD.  Movies -- depends on whether they're conventional DVDs or Blue-Ray.  If the former, and inexpensive player will work.  If Blue-Ray you'll need a BD drive -- these are more like $100 than $30.

$30 or less will get you a conventional CD/DVD writer:

If you need Blu-Ray, it'll be more like $80-100.

I know this sounds stupid but can i watch movie dvds on it as well? And install my software I have on cd's
