What OS? Which media player are you using (note that Windows 10 has no media player for DVDs included).

hi, its a laptop bought in france via dell, with Windows 10 professional. It has Windows DVD reader installed, which plays my european region dvds with no problem. I have NTSC instructional dvds purchased for my business, which I could play on my old laptops after changing the region, but cant find a faciltity on the Dell to do this. I'm thinking I may have to resort to buying a prtable dvd player which reads all formats, such a shame. :(

Do the instructional DVDs have region codes? If they do, you'll need another player that's set to play US-region DVDs.
