latitude 3580 m.2 disk issues
Following the upgrade parts recomended in the Dell webpage bought a SNP112S/256 G wich is a m.2 disk and the 2.5 HDD BAY SATA to m.2 SSD board, when remove the HDD and connect the ssd instead, the BIOS won't find it nor windows installer. I tried reading lot of post of similar problems, like changing the BIOS parameters. Note that i cannot clone the disk since only one disk can be connected to the laptop nor format since windows installers won't find it also.

You would have been better off just installing a regular 2.5" SATA SSD as you will get no additional performance or benefit with the M.2 drive adapter. As for why the drive isn't being recognized, there maybe a potential conflict between the SATA controller and the M.2 adapter, or the M.2 SSD that you're trying to use doesn't support the SATA interface and only supports the NVMe/PCIe interface.
You can buy an inexpensive USB-to-SATA adapter that you can use to temporary connect a second drive externally if you want to clone a drive to another one. This one will work with any 2.5" HDD or SDD.
