That's great.
You will also, need a 3.5" to 2.5" bay adaptor, similar to This:

Which computer model?
Regards to the cables, if you have a desktop and with a SATA C /: hard drive, then the existing SATA data and power cables should fit.

Hi I knew you would need this info but spaced it. I have a Dell XPS with win 10 pro, i7 3770 cpu 4 core, 12 GB ram, 2 TB hd.

Ray,
'Dell XPS' refers to series of computers, not the actual model.
There should be a number following the XPS, see Here:

There is a Studio XPS [aka Studio XPS 435MT], could this be your system?

I have a 435MT model (not the same as yours), and I simply bought a SATA cable along with my SSD.
I simply attached the SSD with a small screw in the bay area below the BluRay/ DVD drive.
Works fine!
Yet to buy a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter. :)
