Installing new hard drive
I need to replace my hard drive on my Inspiron One 2020. It was originally Windows 8 and upgraded to Win 10. I made my system image and backup files in Win 10. What is the best way to get the OS back on to the new hard drive? Do a fresh install of Windows 8 and restore files from backup ( is that possible since my backup files where made in Win 10) or use the system image file to set the HD up? If doing the setup by system image, is there step by step documentation for this process?

Thank you! I got the system image file copied to the hard drive and everything works great!
