Inspiron On 2330 DVD drive doesn't work
From time to time the dvd player simply does not work. It does not open when I press the button, nor does it eject the disc inside it.
After the warranty expired, I was never able to contact Technical Support again.
No Events found!

If the rest of the computer works, use it without using the drive until you can replace it with a new computer. Not much use for a dvd drive now that everything can be accessed online. It is not worth trying to fix it.
Did you try ejecting the disk in File Explorer? Right click on the drive and choose eject.
