Inspiron 3520 laptop hard drive failure
My warranty with dell expired 2 years ago.
I am looking to get a new hard drive, as my drive is giving me the "2000-0142" error.
Furthermore, I was told that it would be possible to get a recovery disk for windows for my Dell Inspiron 3520.
My laptop is capable of turning on, but it runs extremely slowly, has no access to internet (literally will not let me switch wifi on, as well as cannot connect through an ethernet line), and says that the hard drive is running at 100% even though all the programs are using less than 0.2 kbps.
Upon using chkdsk in the command prompt, I get a return of 10480 kb in a bad sector. I have run the chkdsk command 3 times and each return amount has varied greatly. I am able to run diagnostics, use the command prompt and attempt to "repair" my computer, as I've tried that for an entire night to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For Windows 10, you can download the ISO from Microsoft to do the reload of the OS:
www.microsoft.com/.../windows10
For earlier versions you'll need to call Dell to purchase a set of recovery media for your system.
