How Do I Set Boot Sequence to Startup on Secondary SSD for Precision M6700?
I would like to boot off my secondary SSD since I believe my primary has been intentionally infected by a virus.
I can access boot sequence (restart, F2...), but a little apprehensive to change. Not sure what to check/uncheck in the left column, and select in the right column. I see the same two entries in both columns: "Internal HDD", and "P1: Kingston SUV400S...". There are instructions at the bottom but are a little vague.
Please help.

You don't need to change the BIOS setup. Simply press F12 at powerup and choose the device you want from the boot menu. If the primary is suspect, you may want to remove it from the system and attach it externally to scan it (or boot from WIndows Defender Offline and do the same thing).
There needs to be an OS on the secondary drive in order to boot from it (usually there isn't unless you set it up in the system with another copy of the operating system).

I managed to set up the secondary as primary boot, but got a "invalid partition table" error.

If the drive was running in the same system as the other boot device, it was likely marked as secondary by Windows -- you will need to run a fixboot and/or fixmbr from a command prompt (assuming Windows 7) to make it bootable again.
