HDD Issue with Inspiron 15 7567
So the model I got, came with a M.2 256gb ssd. I decided to expand the storage by adding a 1tb WD 2016. When I installed the 1tb, I somehow or my laptop deleted windows 10 off of my ssd. So I reinstall windows 10 and verify everything. Then I tried to format my new HDD that I installed. My BIOS recognize it as 465gb but there was a side message saying *FAILED*. So I went to Disk Management and tried to change the volume. But a error appear when I open Disk Management saying Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy check).
I read some forums on the web saying that I need to do chkdsk c :/f but I'm not sure if that's reading the new drive that I put in. I'm not sure when everything got wipe, it erase all drivers. So I downloaded the drivers from Dell Driver Support (WD ML500M Series for the 1tb & 750gb HDD). But I didn't understand how that download work so I avoided doing anything further on. I'm not exactly sure if my new HDD is faulty or not.
The next day I couldn't click initialize disk.
My BIOS Version is 1.0.7

Run the Dell diagnostic on the drive in question -- if it fails, record the error message and validation code - then call Dell to have the drive replaced under warranty. F12 at powerup to get to the diagnostics.
