Has anyone successfully used SR-IOV with the Dell Express Flash PM1725a?

I'm trying to demonstrate the advantages of SR-IOV for an NVMe drive. I have a pair of 

Dell Express Flash PM1725a drives, but they do not expose the SR-IOV capability, even though the underlying Samsung PM1725a hardware lists the feature as supported.

The drives have older firmware, rev 1.0.3. I can update to the latest 1.1.2, but before doing that, I thought I would check with the community to see if anyone can confirm that new firmware will enable SR-IOV.

Has anyone used it on these drives?
