External ssd not showing in BIOS when plugged in a usb C port.
Hello,
So here's the problem, i've got an ssd (samsung T5) that works normaly when plugged in the usb 3.1 gen 2 type A port but doesn't when plugged in the usb 3.1 gen 2 type C port of my computer (dell G3 3590), alternativly, when i plug my phone on the later port it works perfectly fine (so I don't think it's an hardware problem). One day, the problem got fixed whithout me doing anything, but since then i unplugged it and now when i try to replug it in, it doesn't work.
I already updated all the drivers and my windows version but still nothing.
Hoping I can get an answer soon.

According to samsung, the problem would come from my usb type not suppling enough power, the ssd apparently needs 5V and 0.8A and the type C port only gives 0.5A. Does anyone have any ideas of how I could counter that problem whithout having to connect the ssd with the type A port ?
