Dell XPS 9343 Hard Drive - Missing 175 gb
Hi
I have recently purchased the above product and have down loaded windows 10. The Samsung SSD PM 851 M.2 2280 256 GB is now 100% full (actual 237 gb is 237gb used).
The Storage Usage setting for Apps and Games say they take up 193 gb but when I add the individual components they take up only 18gb! I have already moved my OneDrive folder to an external drive. It holds all my my day to day documents. I also moved the Adobe v 13 products which are about 7 gb to the external drive. I then down loaded all the recent drivers. In the end the space saved was used with the updated drivers.
So where did my 175 gb go? Your urgent response would be appreciated.
Also, recently received notice of an update to the Dell Backup and Recovery. I ran it, but at 6% complete a message popped up that a file could not be repaired. The backup then stopped. I am going to try and re-run it.

Hi Osprey,
Solved. I had created a mirror of my user account. Deleted that, got back the 175gbs. Thanks for your interest. Win 10 was installed.

Hi Michael,
Did you perform a clean installation of Win 10 onto the SSD? You said "downloaded", but I'm not sure if that means you installed it or just downloaded it for later installation.
