Dell WM126 Mouse Battery Drain Issue
Hello Dell Community,
I recently purchased a Dell WM126 wireless mouse, and I've been experiencing a concerning problem with it. It appears that the battery drains at an unusually fast rate. I suspect this might be due to the mouse not entering a sleep mode after a period of inactivity.
In contrast, I also have another Dell model that includes a combination mouse and keyboard, and they effectively preserve battery life by entering sleep mode when not in use. Given this comparison, I'm inclined to believe that my WM126 mouse might be defective or in need of some adjustments.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance from the community on how to resolve this issue and ensure that my Dell WM126 mouse operates efficiently without rapid battery depletion.
Thank you for your help!

facing similar issue of unusually quick draining of battery for my Dell WM126. Looks like its a failed product with so many users complaining about it and yet dell continues to sell it !!
I assume there is no solution to it as seen from so many posts across.
So unfortunate to see such products from likes of Dell.

I agree. My mouse needs batteries far too frequently. Guess I should buy a logitech.

I have the same mouse and the same problem. Luckily I use rechargeable batteries. Has Dell gotten back to anyone on this problem?
