Dell WD22TB4 Dock does not recognise high refresh rates on hotplug

Hi everyone! I have a DELL WD22TB4 Thunderbolt Dock and as the title says, while plugging the dock with the laptop on ( basically hot plugging ), any refresh rates over 144HZ are not available on a Alienware AW2723DF monitor which supports up to 280HZ. This topic was discussed already on the Intel forums in much more detail and some things already tried, see this thread, and wanted to ask you if you have any ideas related to this problem, how can it be fixed or how to contact Dell Support related to this bug/problem. Also, if this is not posted on the right topic/area of forum, please move it or let me know how and where to move it. Thanks!
