Dell W328K - HUS156060VLS600

Hi,

i have bought a bunch of dell W328Ks however when i go to test them using the online diagnostics it comes up that they aren't supported by dell... on the drive it shows f/w E770 but when they are plugged into a dell system they show up as f/w A760 - anyone know why this is? as they are certified by dell i would expect them to run with no issues however it looks as if the f/w has been altered on these drives, am i correct?

Sounds like it.  The W328K should be Fujitsu drives -- with D firmware.  HUS refers to Hitachi - these have E firmware.  Best to ask the vendor.

Hi,

I have the same problem, I brought the HDD with HUS156060VLS600 F/W A760.

Did you solve your problem with F/W version?

Thanks for all!
