Dell Security Manager asking for HDD password?

In Inspiron 15-5559 laptop with 500GB HDD, somehow the Secure Erase option under BIOS got Enabled and in next reboot it was doing erase but I pressed ESC button and it stopped . After that it is asking for password while booting and now I am not able access laptop due to password. Is there any way to unlock the HDD as it is not giving any errors for wrong password .

Hi Robert,

I have contacted Dell technical support and they have provided a master password, but system is not accepting that master password. It says invalid password. Now is there any other options to unlock HDD.

Unfortunately at this point, you may have to replace the HDD and the motherboard.

But I don't why Dell is providing the option of secure erase in BIOS. If they don't know how to handle exception happened due to such kind of options. As password was not set by me and set by bios or something else during secure erase so I don't know what password it will be setting. Dell should be aware what is the default password set during that secure erase provided in Dell bios. But Dell is not aware and not ready to answer these kind questions. If password was set by me and forgot then it will be entirely my mistake but in this case it's not that way. So if anyone knows any other option Please suggest me.
