Dell N 7010 run windows 11

would it be cost effective to put a new hard drive in to run windows 11? Currently still running windows 7

Hi

If possible could you try running W11 in a Virtual Box to see if it has drivers and stability?

Cost effive?  That is a judgement call, an' I ain't no Judge.

Windows 11 will not run on this system without bypassing the CPU and TPM checks, and then only if you're willing to manually update it the same way when updates come (Windows update will fail).

If you're in this for an experiment and can upgrade for free, and are willing to assume the manual update tasks, it may work for you.

If what you want is a system that updates itself and has full support for Windows 11, or you have to pay for an upgrade - no, you'd be better off with a new system.  This one will never provide that.
