Dell Monitors not detected through Dell docking station on Lenovo PC but were on HP PC

I am using a DELL P2217 external display, a DELL WD15 docking station, and a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ITL6 laptop, Product number 82H803SBUS. I was using the same Dell P2217 monitor and another, and the same DELL WD15 docking station with an HP laptop. After switching from the HP laptop to the Lenovo laptop, the DELL monitors are not detected by the computer when connected through the docking station, though either DELL monitor is detected when connected directly to the laptop's HDMI port. The docking station is connected to the USB C port on the Lenovo laptop with the same cable that connected the docking station to the HP laptop. USB devices plugged and the Ethernet cable are detected by the Lenovo laptop through the docking station. Why is it that both Dell monitors, when connected to the this docking station were detected by the HP laptop but are not by the Lenovo laptop?

The Windows 11 Driver tab shows:
Generic Monitor (DELL P2217)
Driver Provider: Microsoft
Driver Date: 6/21/2006
Driver Version:10.0.26100.3624
Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows

https://dell.com/support/product-details/en-us/product/dell-p2217-monitor/drivers has the following:
All Dell P2217

Driver

Dell Display Manager Application
Recommended
10 Oct 2022
Application
Download

Dell P2217 Monitor Driver
Optional
20 Apr 2016
Drivers for OS Deployment

I don't know what the Dell Display Manager Application does. Would the Dell Display Manager Application enable the Dell monitors to be detected when connected to the docking station?
