Dell KB216 keyboard acting weird

My dell keyboard has started acting weird all of a sudden. For example, if I type "5", it instead types "54" and so on for all the numbers. The ctrl key acts as refresh or delete key randomly. Num lock doesn't turn on at all. New issues keep popping up every second. I have tried uninstalling the driver, restarting the laptop, connecting and disconnecting the laptop. Can someone please help? I bought the keyboard about 3 months ago.
