Dell Inspiron 17 7000 Series 7746 [Admin NOTE: Service tag removed per TOU policy]
Dear All,
If I want to replace the actual Seagate HD ST1000LM014-1EJ164 by a SDD what are my options?
Is Dell supporting this by selling, installing and servicing the replacement and how to achieve this change?

You can use any 2.5" SSD you want in the system. Dell doesn't do upgrades -- but if you don't want to do the job yourself, just about any computer shop can transfer the OS for you -- it'll cost you whatever a couple to three hours' labor goes for in your area.
