Dell inspiron 15 3521 Hard drive ATA/SATA

Hello,

It has been a while that my computer freezes unexpectedly. I ran a dell diagnosis and the result was that I should replace my hard drive so I looked for my hard drive's reference to buy a new one ( ST1000LM024 HN-101MBB ATA). I found online almost the same reference but instead of ATA it is SATA. My question is does the inspiron 3521 have sata connectors in them? If not is it still possible to insert the SATA hard drive with a connector? Is it worth it replacing the hard drive or should I just buy a new computer?

Yes, the Inspiron 3521 supports SATA.
