Changed hardrive now stuck on 'getting windows ready. Don't turn off your computer'
Yesterday a dell employee changed my 1tb d hard drive because it was faulty. Now whenever I either restart or shutdown and turn on my laptop it comes up with the screen 'getting windows ready...'. It does load but it takes a long time. So I'm wondering if there is a way to fix this screen from always popping up since it's never happened before until the hard drive was changed.
At the moment it is stuck on the 'getting windows...' screen so I'm wondering what I can do to fix this. Or if it's better just to ring up sell support tomorrow
FYI- I have tried one option which I saw on the internet but it didn't work. It said to turn off the laptop when that screen shows up forcing it to go to some advanced option settings.it then said to go to an option which stated it will find the problem which is stopping windows to load and fix it. It said it couldn't fix any problems and forced me to restart being stuck on that same blue screen again
