CD Drive problem.
Hey. I have a Dell XPS 8700SE running on windows 8.1. I kinda ran into a certain problem. Whenever you turn on the computer, the CD drive makes a disgusting sound upon startup. The sound is like it's trying to read a CD but a little louder. However, when this happens, the splash screen hangs for a minute and then it starts up windows. Does anyone know how to fix this?
It doesn't happen everytime, but it happens every few boots. When this doesn't happen, it take 9 seconds to boot.

Thanks for helping me out, osprey!
However, I found a fix. I downgraded the bios form A03 to A04 (it's not a upgrade. Dell released A04 first, then A03.)
The CD drive was no longer heard again. ;)

Hi Shaneshadow,
Please boot to the BIOS and locate the list of boot devices. Remove the DVD drive from your bootable device list.
