Boot Drive/ Storage Drive
So I have a new AW17R3 with a 1Tb HDD and a 225GB SSD, running Windows 10. Since I will be running a lot of programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, and the Adobe Suite, I want to configure my computer so that all the programs will store/install onto the HDD and run on the SSD. I honestly have no idea how to set this up or work with this. If I can get some help setting this up (with as much detailing/pictures as possible) it would really help THANK YOU!

When you install the programs, change the default location for the install to your hard drive, which is probably drive D:
How this is done varies with each program you install -- there's no generic answer to it.

I tried that! for several programs but it still sent some stuff to the C drive for whatever reason. This might be normal but I honestly don't know. Its frustrating to see the SSD fill up so quickly after 6 programs

All programs will install at least some components (and all their registry entries) to the root C: drive - there's nothing you can do to stop that. Some are worse offenders than others -- the larger the package (Office, etc.) the more space they'll consume on the root drive.
