AIO Inspiron and Drives
Hi I have a Dell Inspiron 5457 24 AMD12 R7 APU all in One ...stop laughing :emotion-5:
It has 20 gig DDR4 Ram a 275 gig M2 drive and a I TB 7200 hard drive .
Question is can I connect with a splitter cable a second Hard drive to the SATA 1 TB drive .
Also your thoughts on AMD Ramdisk .
Thank you !

The only information I can find for a Dell Inspiron 5457 is a laptop.

Any other drive you want to add needs to be USB and external. There is no space inside the system for an additional drive (nor can you split a SATA connection).

If I changed the APU for a Ryzan CPU would I be less crippled by the draw backs of the APU A12

You can't. The APU uses a different architecture then the Ryzen CPU; basically different motherboards. From what I can see, the series of computer you have was not set up with Ryzen in mind.
