After installing a new HDD, I keep getting a "control i to enter configuration utility" screen...
Help?
I installed a new HDD on my xps 15 because the old drive crashed. Everything works fine and the system boots up perfectly. Before I get to the Dell startup screen, the "control i to enter configuration utility" screen pops up for about 5 seconds. After that, the normal boot sequence takes over. Can someone please explain to me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
heres a link to the screen I get upon startup: http://s102.photobucket.com/user/alexcinie/media/photo_zpsb75f0a7f.jpg.html

The mSATA drive is used as a dynamic cache for the hard drive - these are essentially set up in a RAID 0 array. See the link below (it is for Alienware but applies to your system as well).
If you want to keep the cache drive, you will need to set up the RAID array as indicated.

Yea it does. It has a 32 gb SATA drive. You'll have to explain to me if there is a difference between an mSATA and an SATA drive. If you haven't seen the picture I posted, take a look!

Does the system also have an mSATA cache drive?
