A dvd burner was not found

Hi there,

Can someone please help!  I have a inspironI1520 running on windows vista home premium. I am using windows dvd maker and when I go to burn the dvd, I get an error, " a dvd burner was not found. make sure a dvd burner is connected and installed, and then try again."

I have used this program before and I haven't had this problem until now. The program won't even let me chose a dvd burner - its blank. My dvd is working as I can burn dvd's through roxio with no problems. I have searched and searched on the web for a solution. I have installed all the windows updates and can't find a solution.

Please help!!!
