Want to search for emails with the term "SEC"?
Hello
How could you search for emails with the exact phrase "SEC"?
When you put "SEC" in double quotes you get everything that starts with SEC, e.g. security, secret, second, securities, etc....i.e. all words that start with SEC.
I just want to query for "SEC".
Anyone any idea how to do this in DM or S1 Web search?
I have tried "SEC " (with a space) and no luck.
Also trying to search for "SEC" but then NOTing as many words start I can come up with that start with sec! That does not work well either.
Thanks!

Greetings,
What version of SourceOne Web Search and DM are you using and which field are you using for these keywords to search ?
I just tested in my lab where I have one email with “this” in the subject and “thisemail” in the body of another email. When I search for keyword this (without quotes) I only get the email in results that has specified keyword this in the subject line. On using this* I get both emails in the search results. On using keyword search with “this” (including double quotes), I get back only the email that has keyword this in the subject line.
Thanks,
Rajan
