Using Ms DFS for virtual FQDN shares paths for ES1

Hi everybody,

my customer would like to use a dedicated single Windows Server with service share roles to be used for ES1 shares needs.

Just to virtualize the fqdn paths to share we're asking me if they could use a standalone or AD integrated Win 2008 DFS service.

Has anyone ever used dfs for exposing ES1 shares ?

Do you know if it's accepted as complaint to ES1 ?
