User not able to find the shortcutted message in the Inbox

Hi Kalyan,

First of all EX 4.7 releases are not supported by EMC unless you got extended support contact in place.

Secondly EX will always have more emails in the system than what users will have in their mailbox because users can delete messages from their mailbox and EX does not delete those messages from archive when users delete them. There are multiple reasons for it and there is different feature that supports it.

EX Archives emails using real time journaling and EmailXtract Archive and SHortcut jobs. If you are seeing messages in EX but not as shortcut in users mailbox that is normal as EX is a complainace software too.

In your case I think its working as designed, if you think that is not the case then you might have to explain us again because i could have assume something else while reading question from you.

In simple words,

ALL Shortcutted emails in the mailboxes are mean to be available on EX server, NOT ALL emails in EX server are meant to be present in users mailbox as full items of shortcuts.
