Update Shortcut actvity of a storage group fails
Hi all
We have successfully migrated from EmailXtender to SourceOne using Transvault. Now we want to run an update shortcut activity on a per storage group base.
The job fails but the error messages generated even with detail logging are ridiculous.
For a job for 10 users out of the storage group the log just sais:
Mailbox operations Job: 202 started at Monday, 28 February 2011 14:45:47.
Folders to Process:
Nothing elso, no information given as to what failed.
Another log tells me that one user failed. I create a job to update the shortcuts for this mailbox and it completes successfully.
Does anyone have an idea how I can make sure a storage group migrates all users? How can I verify all shortcuts of a storage group have been updated?
Re-createting jobs for that storage group over and over again until it tells me all shortcuts were already updated does not sound like a good plan to me.
Thanks a lot, Holger

Hi Jay
As only some of the messages cause problems I doubt that the answers to many of your questions do make any difference but will respond anyway.
Transvault 5.3 was used for the migration. EMC SourceOne (EmailXtender) for Exchange as Source and EMC SourceOne (Native) for Exchange as Target connector.
EX and ES1: latest version available on Powerlink with all patches applied.
As said, this part has worked fine and it is just the update shortcut activity that fails. And yes, there are mobile users at this site and we need a procedure to ensure all shortcuts were updated correctly.
I see hundreds of updated shortcuts that work just fine and some that just don't. When I update the shortcuts of a failed mailbox that job completes successfully. But it can't be that I need to figure out these mailboxes manually and then create jobs for each failed mailbox.
Best regards, Holger
