Supervisory Groups for SourceOne
In EmailXtender, we were allowed to set up Supervisor Groups in order to allow certain users to search other people's archived emails. How is this done in SourceOne? Currently, the environment looks like this:
1 Default Archive Folder
1 Default Mapped Folder (where the SourceOne service account has Administrator/Read All, and All Users are contributors)
1 Default Archive Activity (to archive all email from all users)
In the above scenario, only the SourceOne service account has Administrator rights when doing a search.
Let's say that in the future IT gets a request that the HR Director needs to be able to view all archived messages for John Doe (typical user). How do you set up this up using the above default structure?

I believe the same message was asked on another forum. Here is what I mentioned there:
For a particular user you can only usemailbox permissions and then use "Search As" option in the search.
If you are looking for all users then "Read All" should do the job.
Have you considered Discovery Manager ?
The best I would suggest you is to give HR Director access to Discovery manager and create Legal Hold folder in ES1. Due to their nature of job he/she might need to put data on hold and also create PST/NSF files with the data found for a user.
Thanks,
