Source One drive just filling up

I am new to Source One, so if this is basic please forgive me.

We have Source One 6.8, and we have several drives and one all of a sudden has filled up.  We put 200gb more on the drive and it filled in a week.  It is called the Message_Center and when I go into it, it shows that the main bulk of space is in the Unpack Area.  Has a folder from last month and this month that is quite full.  The other months are empty.

Can we remove the last month information, or is there a proper way to remove the info?  Need to get this going, emails are backing up in the journal mailboxes and I can't get more storage until we figure out what is wrong.

Thanks,

Jason Hopp

Ok, here is what I found:

ExAsIdxObj Found Index: 3-Year-Archive\201404 in DB but failed to Find it on Disk:  \\[server]\SourceOne_Indexes$\; (0x8604282C [ExAsIndex.exe, ExAsIndexPoll.cpp(1221).CExAsIndexPoll::LoadIndexesInMonth]

It is an error with event ID: 10284

Any idea on this error would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Jason

The Message Center is a temporary working location until the message are bundled and pushed to the Archive location.

You cannot delete anything from there or you will lose the archived messages.

If the Message Center is growing quickly there is someone that is preventing them being written to the Archive.

Take a look at the EMC event log to determine what the issue is.

Please check your index drive space and restart indexing services.

Ajay,

That is what it was.  Our index drive reached the threshold of free space and stopped indexing.  Thanks for your help.
