Search results may be incomplete. An unexpected full text index error occurred.
We currently have a combined SourceOne - EmailXtender environment, where EmailXtender data is searchable from SourceOne. If I use the SourceOne Search tool to search EmailXtender data and choose a user from the global address list, I have no problems. However, when I use the SourceOne search tool and enter an email address manually in the "Sender or Recipient" field, I get the following error:
Search results may be incomplete. An unexpected full text index error occurred. Click here for more information.
When I click the link for more info, I get this message:
The following errors were encountered while searching:
An unexpected full text index error occurred. Error Detail: no indexes available to search (0x86044109).

Yet I still get results. I checked both SourceOne and EmailXtender event logs and there are no errors.
Does anyone know what I am seeing here? I want to be sure that I am getting complete results as we do a lot of legal searches. It is necessary to be able to search on an email address that may not be in our system.

Also check the indexes on both servers for errors.....

Currently no problems with indexes for either product. In fact I just spent the better part of a week at the beginning of April with EMC support fixing "missing messages, corrupt content cache". The solution was to upgrade to SP1.

EmailXtender is version 4.81.2031.
SourceOne is version 6.6.1.1315.
We just installed SP1 on SourceOne recently to fix indexing issues. (That problem is solved - this one is either new or I never noticed it before.)

We also have a case about this after the SP1 upgrade. Our core data is in the 10's of Terabytes stored, so we are having to re-index each folder. Unfortunately, this is the only thing support has been able to tell us will correct the issue. I'll let you know how that goes...

OK,
The latest update is out, 6.7, and I am told this corrects the issue with the Indexes as well. I am planning our installation, and will update you as soon as I know more.
