Restore from SourceOne back to a journaling mailbox?
Hi! I'm trying to help a customer with some possible scenarios for their SourceOne archive. I'm sorry that I don't have a ton of technical details.
We're interested in exporting complete data for some mailboxes from the archive. We know we can export to PST, but we're interested in understanding if/how they could restore the mail back to an Exchange journaling mailbox. Is there a way to do that with SourceOne? Are there any other formats that folks have found effective for larger exports/migrations? Thanks!

Hello blinker,
SourceOne as a whole has a few methods to restore/export emails out of the archives.
1) Using the SourceOne web search, you can "restore" the emails to a specific mailbox.
2) Using the SourceOne: Discovery Manager (express or regular) client, you can export the emails to a PST/NSF format.
The second option is probably our most popular, as you can then take the PST files outside your environment.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Brad
