Quota issues when using outlook 2010 in combination with OA
We’re noticing a problem caused with the local outlook 2010 client being used in conjunction with the archiving client. If you have a quota assigned on the exchange server. From a client side it will add the total used space from the archive & your inbox together – this means you may have only have used 50% of your exchange quota – but the client starts behaving as if the total quota has been used.
Result : we have to set our quota limits in Exchange to a factor of what we really are using
Anyone is facing this issue as well?
We are using S1 6.7 sp2

Hi Rajan
Outlook 2010 is configured with cached exchange mode, but the OA client is configured to cache items.
Is there any news of customers reporting this in when using this scenario?
thnx

Greetings,
In your case is Outlook 2010 configured with cache mode and OA is configured to not to cache ?
If that is the case then open support ticket and refer to engineering escalation OA-289. I am out of office, else would have checked for you if it is included in 6.8 code line.
Regards,
Rajan
