Office 2003 SP3 supported?
I'm probably waaaay behind on this one but wanted to be sure.
A while ago we were informed not to install Office 2003 SP3 on the desktops because it would interfere with the MAPI clients and EX opening the Form to read Shortcut emails.
Has this been resolved?
We're on 4.81.564/655.
Is it safe to push down SP3 now?

Hello Glenn,
This email is in regard to the question you posed relative to Microsoft Office (Outlook) 2003 SP3 compatibility with EmailXtender.
Yes, Office/Outlook 2003 SP3 is compatible for use with EmailXtender.
Please be aware that the EmailXtender Search plug-in may need to be reinstalled if you are removing a previous version of Outlook prior to the installation of Outlook 2003 SP3. For reference, details on installing the Search plug-in are available in the EMC EmailXtender Installation Guide.
Please note that when installing Outlook SP3 ensure that the latest Microsoft updates are applied. Specifically, installing Microsoft post-SP3 hotfix as described in Microsoft Article ID 948073 "Description of the Outlook 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package: January 23, 2008", or by enabling the hotfix manually through registry edits as outlined in Microsoft Article ID 948074 "You cannot open an .msg e-mail message file in Outlook 2003 after you install Office 2003 Service Pack 3". Applying this hotfix will prevent an issue where certain email messages containing many recipients or attachments are unable to be opened by Outlook and therefore unable to be processed by EmailXtender.
Please advise if you have any other questions regarding Outlook 2003 SP3 compatibility.
