Multiple Exchange Servers
I have 15 Exchange Servers all Windows 2008, Exchange 2007 SP1, EX Server is Windows 2003 SP2, Outlook 2003. We have configured a mailbox connector for one server with mailbox belonging to this server and configured it as mailbox connector. Journalling is working fine.
If we want to add more servers for journalling or EX tasks, can we use the same Service Account for all of them or should we create a Service Account with mailbox for each Exchange server and have multiple mailbox connectors on the EX Server?

that is difficult to say and depends in my opinion on various factors:
- location of Exchange servers (different sites)
- site connection (available bandwidth)
- service continuity (reboot or server outage of the mail server with journaling mailbox)
- throughput of EmailXtender when emptying a journaling mailbox.
If you have a single journaling mailbox, it's obviously easy to maintain from EX point of view.
I would suggest e.g. one journaling mailbox per site (assuming you don't have 15 Exchange servers hosted centrally).
When journaling the mails of multiple Exchange servers, just make sure the journaling mailbox gets emptied properly.
That's my 5 cents on this. Hope it helps.
Kind regards, Jochen.
