Messages in BadDir
Hello,
In the report generated by ExMailStatus.exe -a [address] I had 4 Non-Processed Messages. I tried to reprocess these messages with ExBadDirProcessor.exe. This worked for 3 messages, but 1 message wasn't processed because it was in the DB already and had a volume associated with it.
Is there a way to resolve this? I haven't tried the -nv option yet because the volume still exists. Or can I safely delete this message from the BadDir?
Kind regards,
Duncan

You've taken the proper steps to resolve this issue.
For the last remaining message in the BadDir, if it says it is in the DB (assigned to a volume) then we should be able to remove this message from the bad dir.
I would strongly recommend copying the MsgID, and plugging that into the search plugin "Search For Words" section. With "Message Identifier" selected in the "In:" location.
Once you locate this mail, confirm that you can open it.
If you are able to open it, then you can delete the message from the baddir without worry.

I successfully tried the steps you suggested.
I first copied the messageID and pasted that into the search plugin. I successfully opened the message and the attachments in it.
I then moved the message from the BadDir another temp folder and tried the above step again. I could open the mail and view all attachments.
Then I removed the message, and succesfully repeated the step once more.
Kind regards,
Duncan
