Manual Archive / Shortcut Process - Command Line Run?

The Group that handles the Xtender Servers are doing manual runs of archive and shortcuts for users ingesting PST info or moving email content down to their My Vaults due to mailbox size issues. They do these runs all the time as Users cannot wait until the overnight archive shortcut runs.

What I am looking for is the possible way to run these runs via a command line. I am doubtful that this is possible but I figure I should ask just in case. It would be helpful as we could then script and log it and not have to clean up all the time for user runs that are in the scheduler.

Please note that I am not an Xtender admin in anyway. I am a Project Manager working with the Xtender Team and trying to enhance processes in Xtender.

HI Mike,

EmailXtender 4.8.x family does nto support or have any ways to run EmailXtract jobs using command lines.

EmailXtract jobs setting are stored in registry keys but still supported methos is only through GUI or scheduled jobs.

Future releases of email archiving products from EMC might allow you to do this but that is something you would have to discuss with the account managers in EMC to find out if there is something that is on the roadmap.

Otherwise if you like some feature to be added to EmailXtender you always can present a business case to product management through support and account team in EMC.

Thanks,
Rajan

Thanks. I had a feeling that was going to be the answer. Oh well. It was worth a shot.
