LDAP error while resolving shortcut message
Hi,
The first message we try to resolve after starting MS Outlook, takes about 20 seconds to open. When we enable debug logging and try again, an LDAP error is recorded in the log:
t [3b4] ExtenderAddin.cpp:2115 (CExtenderAddin::GetSearchObject55) LDAP Search Path: LDAP://
e [3b4] ExtenderAddin.cpp:2128 (CExtenderAddin::GetSearchObject55) Cannot retrieve the AD naming context for the following reason: 0x8007203a.
e [3b4] ExtenderAddin.cpp:2130 (CExtenderAddin::GetSearchObject55) ADsOpenObject ADSI Error: The server is not operational.
Why does is it use a LDAP query for resolving messages, and why does it use the virtual exchange node for the query instead of the domain controller?
Kind regards,
Duncan

Do you have an LDAP server configured in the EmailXtender Administrator?
It's under the View menu.
From the client machine can you launch the EmailXtender search plugin and pull up a message?
