Install MS-Office on EX server?

Question

I'm installing emailxtender 4.7.477 onto a Win2k3-sp1 server. In order for the full-test index to work properly, do I need to install the full MS-Office suite onto the server as well? I'm installing Acrobat Reader as per the EX installation guide, but there's no mention of Office.

The documentation states you need Adobe reader installed to fulltext index pdf file. Hope this helps.

No need for Office the indexer has built in readers for differt formats.Only thing you need is Outlook if in an Exchange Env.

Just a quick note, Adobe Reader is no longer required to be installed, this was changed in 4.7
