how to process messages from msgcenter folder
Hello,
its possible to process messages from folder emailextender/msgcenter. I have run out of space, messages weren't store in vault but they are indexed. When i am trying to search thorough client it find them but says that the store is offline. I try to find them and realize that all messages are in msgcenter folder. Its possible to process them again ? or any other ideas ?

Messages stays in MSGCENTER till they are refferenced to open containers or still candidate for indexing. If container is closed and data is indexed messages should have got de-refferenced.
Please check to make sure that you do not see Red X marks on volumes in EX Admin GUI, if that is the case or in any case I would suggest working with support to resolve it.
Messages in the MSGCENTER should not be processed manually unless told my support, unless those are in the MSGCENTER\BadDir folder.
If you ran out of disk space and have lot of containers open in EX Admin GUI start closing the containers in the EX Admin GUI by right click on the volume name and selecting close container.
If still you do nto get space back please call EMC Support for EmailXtender.
Thanks,
Rajan

If he follow these steps:
- Remove all connection mailboxes
- Ensure no Extract tasks are running
- Ensure no files are present in the \mailroot\drop directory
- Close all open volumes
- Execute the utility "CleanMsgCenter"
- Recreate all connection mailboxes
Would it be done? With this he could have more space.
I have done it and I have more space now.
What do you thing?

EX only supports the utilities that comes with the patch kit. If it did not come with the EX then DO NOT use it, otherwise you will end up with unsupported environment.
If you are not using EXM then support note esg90075 should help.
Thanks,
