How to bring back Emailxtender online. I am not able to retrieve attchments
Hi everyone,
I am new to EmailXtender. I need one help.
I am not able to retrieve attachments, previously shortcutted by EmailXtender. A NotesXtract.nex icon is appearing.
while I try to open attachemnts an error occurs, which states that :
Server error: This database cannot be read due to an invalid on disk structure
I need urgent help.
Can anyone please provide the solution

I have moved your question from the Powerlink lite forum into the EmailXtender forum. It is more likely to receive an answer here.

If you have a DB admin, I'd recommend chatting with them...otherwise a support call to EMC would probably be next in line.

EX uses ExShortcut.nsf database on domino to do temp restoration of shortcut mails before those could be shown on the client machine. If this database is in question you need to fix it. If you cannot fix it you can try the following:
1. Bring Domino Down
2. Delete ExSHortcut.nsf
3. Bring Domino Online
On start fo domino shortcut library will look for ExShortcut.nsf if its not present it will create new database with permissions for EX Service account(it should have person doc permission with delete rights).
See if that helps, if it does not help speak to support.
WARNING: One should never touch ExJournal.nsf that are used by EX, these should not be deleted or modified.
Thanks,
Raj
