How do I archive 'archives'?

Our email system is Notes/Domino and I can quite happily journal and shortcut all the user mailfiles and other mail databases, usually by groups in the Domino Directory.  Now we are tidying up the network drives, where many users have 'local' archives.  I have started copying some of the larger ones to a Domino server, but I am now a bit stumped as to how to shortcut them.

My aim is to absorb all the emails into the Xtender system and then get the users to search that, rather than rely on their own archives, but in the interim I need to point them to their file on the Domino server that is full of shortcuts.  Is the only way to create dummy entries in the Domino Directory for these files?

I'm probably just approaching it in the wrong way, but any guidance would be much appreciated!

Hi Jacqui,

A thousand pardons.  This note was posted in the welcome site and not inside the community, so I have moved it inside the community (and given you access to the full community.)  I have also forwarded it to one of our Notes specialists and asked them to get back to you ASAP.

Again, I'm sorry this note fell through the cracks.  Please let me know if you don't hear from someone in the next day or so!
